Samsung India it seems like quite focused to give tough competition to Chinese giant manufacturer Xiaomi in India. Samsung India is now ready to launch their next mid-range flagship in this upcoming week, as per the report of IANS. The Smartphones will upgrade version of Galaxy on6 and be named Galaxy On8 with 4B RAM and 64GB storage, a dual rear camera, infinity display for around Rs.18,000 according to the report.
After the great success of the galaxy On6, the Samsung also going to make this handset Galaxy on8 exclusively available on the Flipkart, as it will be the second handset from them “only-online smartphone” as specified by the industry sources to the IANS.
The Galaxy on8 can feature with Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset moreover report mentioned included mentioning that the smartphone will be having 6′-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display. Apparently, earlier to this month Samsung has launched the and brought their flagship handset Infinity Display to the mid-range segment with GalaxyOn6, on seems like the company will be following the same strategy to carry on with Galaxy On8. However, this can be the second exclusive handset in two months from Samsung.
The Hardware of the galaxy On6 was not utterly different from Galaxy J6, which leads to believe us all that on board hardware specification will be a mirror to Galaxy J8. But as of now, no specific details are confirmed by the company yet.
As above already mentioned Samsung, is looking to tender on the other competitor like Xiaomi, Huawei and some other mid-range contenders. Therefore, Galaxy on8 be sold online and will not be available on the Samsung’s retail outlets. The company main focus will be to increase the online sales passage.
According to the Samsung, released the press release earlier this month mentioning, the company has sold over twenty-lakh handset unit in India of its recently launched midrange smartphones- Galaxy J6 and J8. And apart from this, only 50,000 units have been sold within this month on each day.
