However, Samsung can announce through the event SDC(Samsung developer conference), which is to kick off on November 7. This developer conference will be of two days, last till 8th November. Quite some reports in the tech company have claimed that might Samsung can launch their first F-series which stand for a foldable series flagship in November. The company has not quoted any official statement about the launch but this is the latest prediction.
Samsung has changed the profile picture of their official accounts on the social media, where hinted about the upcoming foldable phone. The profile picture mechanism showcased the ‘S’ letter flipping in between from the Samsung word. Besides this, Samsung has not named about the upcoming flagship. The Samsung Indian SVP, Pranav Mistry, head of the Indian Innovation also been retweeted the same image. After this direct teasing from the Samsung, indicated the smartphone will be having the two displays- One on Outside and another in inside.
Apparently, the latest report from GizmoChina discloses the regular display (outer one) will be having the 4.6inches display panel and the inside one as 7.29 inches. Both the display will have the OLED panel and smartphone will be having the 3,000mAh battery. Samsung is been super secretive over this launch that till now no hardware specification disclosed. But we expect at least Samsung could provide the latest chipset in the handset and larger battery than the rumoured one. Because the two display will have larger power consumption.
Other than the report, we found the code-named of the handset which is SM-F900F and SM-F900N, for the European and Asia markets respectively. Additionally, the report gives the idea for the production of this premium handset. Samsung will make 1,00,000 handset in the month till this year. However, will be increased from the next year. As the company wants to test the market perspective in the initial stages rather than going in the full pace game.
Although, also got hinted about this upcoming handset, might not have the fingerprint scanner in terms of security portfolios.
As per the earlier rumours, the Samsung foldable smartphone can be launched at a price tag higher than the existing premium flagship in the market of 2018. It clearly signifies that not less than $1500(around Rs1,10,000) and till the higher price segment $1,850 (around Rs.1,35,700).
